Default Alternative to chapstick?

Don't have any lip balm in the house, it's late and I don't really wanna go out. Any other common household items I could use instead?

Licking your lips will only make them dry out more, as you will be licking off natural body oils. There are manly reasons for needing some kind of lip balm, like if you're an olympic skier or some kind of Nordic fisherman. Basically anyone who's outside in cold windy conditions.

I second the guy who suggested vaseline, that's all most chapstick is anyway, maybe with a bit of aloe or some other medication and flavoring. I'm sure any type of fat would work, like butter or bacon grease, but then you would be too tempted to lick that delicious grease off your lips.

Obviously I meant I don't wanna go out of the Nordic fishing boat I'm currently on.
