Default Landlord liability question

So last night I was sleeping and at about 330 my window was broken. It would appear that something was thrown through it or at it or whatever, but anyways somebody broke it while I was sleeping. I am renting the house with 2 other roommates in a 12 month lease which started August. Does my landlord have any responsibility to get my window fixed since I wasn't the one that broke it? Or am I just SOL and have to get it fixed myself unless I found out who did it? Thanks in advance.

I ran into a similar situation (one of my roomies broke the window but my landlord didn't know that) a year or so ago. He fixed it, but we had to pay for it.

yes it is the landlord's bill to pay. if you can show him a picture of inside glass so he knows it was broken from the outside you may have it easier. most will pay for this. most will also raise your rent at the end of the lease if you have alot of headaches for him. i am a landlord.
