Default Bet this river?

Villain here is 50/10/1 over about 100 hands. Against most people he's just calling and cold-calling happily, but I think he's starting to hate me a bit, so maybe he could be getting out of line.

Ultimate Bet 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (7.40 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.70 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (8.70 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Hero bets? or checks to induce a bluff from a busted draw?

I don't see how you can possibly fold to a raise when you suspect he's upset with you. I would check and hope that momentum or pique will cause him to bet.

I like the idea of just calling the first flop bet and then leading a non-diamond/non-ace turn. That makes it harder for a hand like 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] to escape and avoids being jerked around by a flush draw. Putting in 3 bets with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] costs him little and if he then steals a free card when he misses you've really been had.

You really only have enough hand versus a sound ("10%") preflop 3-bet to make one aggressive move, so save it for the turn when your pot equity is much better.
