Default completely dumbfounded

I am stumped about something. I am currently playing in a $4/$8 game. And during the course of 9 or 10 hours I will win some huge pots. (12 or 15 times the big blind) I don't lose very many big show downs though. Here's my dilemna, after so many hours of playing i will usually leave about $30 or $40 dollars ahead. I am trying to figure out why i'm not a bigger winner. To me, $3 per hour against not very good players seems not very good at all. As with almost all low limit games ..these games are usually very loose ..lots of pre-flop limpers. Anyone with any ideas?

Read Small Stakes Hold 'Em by Sklansky (et al).

That's the playbook to loose limit games.

I dont think we can give you a reason because there is not enough info to work with. Maybe you are coldcalling to many raises, playing to many hands, not raising in situations (pre and post flop) you should be? All this is just a guess though. Post some hands and the posters will help you plug some leaks.
