Default AKo vs the forces of chaos.

Playing Pacific Poker last night for about 3 hours. (I know they suck, but they gave me $10) Table read is a mess. People coming and going, those that stay change constantly. One hand everyone folds to the BB, the next, everyone can't stop capping all the way to the river. Very chatoic and I had a lot more trouble than usual attempting to get a read on anyone.

One empty seat at a 10 seat table.

CaptCrunch dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG calls, 4 folds, CaptCrunch raises, button calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop is 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, CaptCrunch bets, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

Turn is 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, CaptCrunch checks, Button checks.

River is 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB bets, UTG calls, CaptCrunch calls, Button folds, SB folds.

I can already guess I played the turn and on wrong.

Checking the turn isnt really wrong, you're not going to fold everyone. Calling the river isn't much use though.

Why bet the flop?

I like the turn check.

On the river the bettor might be bluffing but the caller cannot be. Fold.

I'm okay with the flop bet. It gives you a decent chance to see the river card for free. (That's what happened here, after all).

The turn is standard.

Overcalling the river is a clear error.

With only the button left to act behind you, I think betting the flop is fine. Fold the river.
