Early game AQs, thought?
EDIT - Specifically what hands do we think villian has to go all-in with here?
Will Hill £30 ($50 or so) 10 person SnG. Only a few hands in and not paying much attention, table is generally loose/weak passive preflop but there have been a couple of uncalled all-ins so far post-flop. I've played one hand so far very fast and strong and took it down unseen on the flop. I doubt anyone remembers though. ------HAND 19------ Game #1226870803: Hold'em NL (15/30) - 2005/11/03 - 22:41:41 (UK) Table "STT1 1331960 - 1" Seat 7 is the button. Re: Early game AQs, thought?
jesus, is the euro really worth that much right now?
regardless, i typically limp with AQ in the first two levels, but it's probably a judgment call. if i were to raise, i'd raise what you raised. if i'm going to check-call the flop (which I don't hate, doesn't hurt to mix it up), i'm doing it with the intentions of leading the turn (which needs to be a push). incidentally, this hand is one of the reasons i don't really like raising AQ preflop in the first two levels. the pot gets so big that i don't think i can get away, pretty much ever, when an A flops because I don't have enough chips to gain enough information to fold. |
