Default Party poker reminder sounds not always working - PLEASE HELP

This is driving me crazy, when I'm multitabling (using two monitors, don't know if that's relevant) 3 or 4 tables sometimes I don't get a reminder beep when it's my turn to act and my hand is folded. This seems totally random, any ideas? The only thing I can think of is if it goes off whilst another table is already beeping and so it's missed.

If you are relying on beeps to know when to play at a table, and are getting timed out at multiple tables slowing the game down for everyone, THEN YOU ARE PLAYING TOO MANY DAMM TABLES.

No I'm not! I'm not running out of time to make decisions, windows aren't popping up to tell me it's my turn and they overlap so I can't see. If the tables were actually telling me it was my turn then I would act! I can't see without the warning, it's not just the beeping, it's the initial flickering or popping up of the windows which isn't happening either so I just never know action is required at the table.

Has no-one else experienced this?

I sometimes have the same problem. It drives me nuts, but I'm not sure how to fix it besides closing all the tables and reloading Party. Even one table without a beep is too easy to miss your turn on.

It happens to me too and I only play two or three tables at a time, with more open in the background. It’s not a matter of trying to play too many tables – it’s a matter of sometimes the thing just doesn’t beep and I get auto-folded.

Anybody have any useful ideas or is it just a Party bug?

I tend to try and keep track of my tables, so no. I hate the reminder beep. You have two monitors and you can't see all your tables?

Are they not capable of 1600x1200 resolution?

If you are using an nvidia graphics card it is easy to disable a minor setting and cause your problem. Try disabling the special settings features for a short while and see if your problem is gone.
