What the hell is going on with the Party 20K freeroll!?

I want to go to sleep, and the bloody thing keeps pausing for several minutes at a time. Just came back for ONE hand after 5 minutes and now it's gone again.

They making sure all the players start up cash games to get their 20K in rake back before the tournament is out?

I got about $50 worth of equity in the pool by chips and the players are so bad it seems like a shame to switch off and go to sleep.

At this rate though I could get in a few hours and probably only have paid the blinds once.

How do you know it was cancelled? My table says the game is paused.

I just got a popup that said it had been cancelled due to Technical difficulties

I'm at table 14 if it matters...

Dealer: The tournament is currently paused. Play will resume shortly.
Dealer: This table is being closed.

Mine says the table is being closed, the tournament has gone from the lobby

The tournament is definitely gone from the lobby. However, I got no popup saying the tournament was cancelled, and my table is still there with the message that it's paused. I assume it must be cancelled, though.

Lame, lame, lame.

Figured I'd find a few extra bucks in my account this morning but I didn't, no email on the subject either.

Anyone get a settlement from this?
