About the KK, I think you played them fine. There's a good chance you could've bluffed against a pair of As with a lower kicker, but you don't know anything about this guy, who could've been slowplaying AT or TT against you, or any number of things, and you are so far from having the best hand you're better off taking your follow-up 1/2 pot bet on the flop and shutting down after that. Hate to see the A high flop with KK, but them's the breaks...
