I have a hard time responding to them as they can mean many things. It sure looks like a set here.. what do you do on, say, a 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] turn? Muck to the $72 bet? ----- ---------- ----- PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (8 handed) MP2 ($600) CO ($108) Button ($954.95) SB ($460.35) BB ($1003.45) Hero ($841.70) UTG+1 ($618.10) MP1 ($1922.95) Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $24, 5 folds, SB calls $21, 1 fold. I raised UTG so I can probably be put on a a fairly good hand. I'm a pretty solid and tight player, but I'm not sure if Villain knows this or not. Again, what's your plan and thought process on the flop. What about the turn? Fold? Thanks. |

Re: $600 NL - Getting Minraised With Kings
assuming both players are reasonably competent i think both turns are folds. Sucks to run into sets with KK.

Re: $600 NL - Getting Minraised With Kings
Why are you betting half the pot on those flops? You don't show any strength and are letting him blow you off hands without putting up much of a fight.

Re: $600 NL - Getting Minraised With Kings
Depends 100% on who you're playing there. Some of the 3/6 players on Stars will have a set 100% of the time with that minraise. Others will do that all the time with a draw (q/10 in first hand, kq in other) or TPTK or any part of the board for that matter.

Re: $600 NL - Getting Minraised With Kings
ahhh, the good old ps, I play a fair amount of 3/6 NL on stars, I would say it's 100% player dependant. I know that's not what you're looking for but.......some are such tighties like 12/3's and others are kind of nutty, 37/9 so depends man.
