Default Pretty common situation with a marginal hand late in a $55

This situation comes up a lot for me and I am usually split on folding and pushing. The key thing I'm looking at here is the 3 people left to act all have less than 7BB and the BB is a 14/3 so he's tight. With the blinds this big and everyone short stacked, should I take the aggressive play and push, trying to increase my stack by 33%, or fold and wait to make a better push in a few hands. If you would push, what is the worst holding you would push with? If you decided to fold, what's the worst hand you would push with?

what the [censored]? It's 6 handed and you're in MP.

FOLD.

I'd push A9 though

If you're pushing A4, then you're essentially pushing any two.

I'm not pushing any two, but a fairly wide range

Let's say 22+, A2+, KTo+, K9s+, QJo, QTs+

what do you mean by BB is a 14/3?

Also, i'm not opposed to pushing here. This type of play for me is table/image dependant. This is the few times late in a sng where finesse comes into play.

Whilst this is a blatant push with A4o (they need to call with ridiculous ranges to not make it so, BB in the region of any-ace, any-pair), with 32o (say) it is not quite so clear-cut. I mean, yes, the ranges are still quite wide (in the region of 55+,ATo+,A8s+,KQs for Button and SB, with BB at 44+,A9o+,A7s+,KJs) but it's not unheard of for a donk or two to call with this. So ATC would require a slight read.

Nice work. I doublechecked your numbers knowing I didn't have to, and you are right. I think 32o is a fold usually, hell, as BB I'd call an allin from a 2+2'er with A7s here.
