Sorry to hear about your unfortunate luck. I'm just recovering from a 100BB "swing." It sucks man, but I guess it's an important lesson in variance since you will need to be able to deal with larger swings in the future. Just hang in there and try not to tilt.

I have 100BB swings at least twice a week. Don't sweat it.

I played with you on Stars last night - 3/6. play looked solid.

just don't go on tilt, watch out for LAG play, and you'll be fine.

I was in a 450BB downswing last week in 1/2 6 max ... I'm now break even almost... After 35k hands... 100BB is nothing in shorthanded

In the post you are referring to I took the position that 200+ was of sufficient size to merit some attention and a little empathy from the boards. strip would not budge and despite being the lone voice of reason... ...I have eventually acquiesced and now agree with the 300 BB figure (for whining posts).

I still think when you top -200BB it may be time to post a few hands, but no whining...

That still doesn't exempt his "downswing" from being regarded with scorn and derision.

i purposely posted here to get berated and get my view back in perspective. we all know 2+2 is the last place on earth to get sympathy for downswings. heck, 100BB isn't even a considered a downswing anymore.
