Default POP: Reading Recommendations on Improving Card Reading Skills

I'm reading Psychology of Poker (POP), a great book so far. In the section on Reading Hands, Dr. Schoonmaker gives some specific reading recommendations for further study (a very nice touch). He recommends pp. 48-60 of Theory of Poker. However, when I look at those pages in the edition I have that doesn't seem correct. Is it possible that he is referring to chapter 22, "Reading Hands"? My appologies if this has been asked and answered before. I did spend some time with search, but couldn't find anything.

So, you see how important it is for me to study this topic! I made a decent read on the situation, but I had no confidence in it.

No offense taken, although I think you *could* be bluffing.

[Edit: one reason for the question was that the pages references were WAY different. pp. 48-60 versus pp. 221-233.]

Heh, like I said, no offense, but you truely are an Einstein.

Quite honestly, I don't have Dr. Al's book, so I can't comment on the hand-reading reference to TOP in it. But, the chapter I think he is referring is the chapter you mentioned. I would not know why there is such a huge difference in page numbers other than the fact that there may be a typo or something of that nature.

Things could have also been added to TOP making the pages different. I don't really know though, just a guess.
