Default More Expensive Than World War One

http://www.csmonitor.com/2005/0829/p15s01-cogn.html

[ QUOTE ]
Despite the relatively small number of American armed forces in Iraq and Afghanistan (140,000), the war effort is rapidly shaping up to be the third-most expensive war in United States history.

This conflict has already cost each American at least $850 in military and reconstruction costs since October 2001

It is adjusted. The article states that everything is listed in 2005 dollars no less than 3 times.

I think if you try to be more objective and less of an ideologue, then this sort of thing might not happen so much. You just wanted it to be wrong.

I have extreme faith that with Halliburton style accounting, this will be the MOST expensive war.

Keep in mind the cost of war will go up as time goes by as we become more technical and use less manpower which in turn saves lives.

Felix_Nietsche must have the information at least 4 times, slowly fed. I explained to him 3 times, for example, that Ronald Reagan raised taxes but he will only respond with "LOLs" and emoticons.

They say it's seasonal.

Default The Left and Stopped Clocks

You just wanted it to be wrong.
************************************************** ******
LOL! True. I did NOT read the article. So many lies come from the left I felt very confident making the statement that I did. It turns out the kook left told the truth for once. In WWI we deployed a lot more troops than we did in Iraq and on the surface the assertion seemed ridiculous to me.

Oh well, even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
Still this info doesn't change a thing. We are in Iraq to finish the mission and the bitching from the left won't change a thing.

Enjoy your shallow and meaningless victory.
