Flop comes AQQ, he checks, i bet about 1/4 of the pot, trying to look like i'm slowplaying. He thinks for a long time and calls. I bet about 4BB on the turn: 8. River is another 8, check check. He shows his ace. Why oh why can't i just give up my blinds?

tourney shortstack with A9 in the BB with 5BB after posting. Tourney chipleader on button open-raises. His range has got to be huge even tho he's shown down some good hands in the last 2 orbits.

thought about a stop-n-go, and in hindsite that was prob the correct play. But at the time i figured there was too good a chance he had Kx or worse. Meh.
