Default poker odds

i was wondering if anyone knew how to figure out drawing odds for hold 'em on the river and turn. Also I heard from someone that the 5-high straight is only beaten by the Ace-high straight, and I dont think its true but i havent been able to find anything that confirms it. I was wondering if anyone had heard that also.

Do you want the hand rankings or turn and river drawing odds?

For turn and river drawing odds, I hate to sound like an ass, but go buy a book. It's a lot simpler, and would take pages to type here.

As for your other question, a Straight, just as a Flush and Straight-Flush, is ALWAYS ranked by its highest card in High-hand wins Poker. An Ace may play as a low card. A-2-3-4-5 is the lowest straight possible, beaten by any straight 2-3-4-5-6 or higher, T-J-Q-K-A is the highest possible straight.

The only poker game I have played where this is true is in Pai Gow poker played at the casino as a table game.
