Re: QQ line check - I\'m pretty sure I messed up somewhere!
100NL
Uh, the initial raiser, raised and stacked someone with a set of Js. He was out of the hand by the turn. The turn pusher has no real reads - I think he's been at the table for about 6 hands. \ Edit: And we both have about 100 in our stack. |

As far as "is this standard?", without a read on your opponent, I would say no. You typically don't want to play for your stack with TPTK, or an overpair. Two pair is marginal, and I would say most players are looking for a set on a relatively uncoordinated board to play for their stack.

so the pot size on the flop is about $45? I pot it.
Edit: you're obviously pushing any turn for your last $35 |

When a pot is reraised preflop, TPTK and overpairs become worth taking to felt, IMO. Any cbet commits you.
Assuming 100BB. Deep stacks, you actually have to play poker (go figure) Edit: use your head; if you have AQ TPTK and villain called a 3bet pf but raises the flop, you can let it go (AA-KK and sets). |
