Default Am I playing bad or am I running bad? Some hands...

My major problem at this moment is I don't have money to buy PT, so I can't keep track of everything. I do know that in the last 2 days I have lost money on Stars. Some hands to see if my play was wrong in them:

1:
PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.05.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero (poster) raises, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG+1 3-bets, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Hero caps, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (20.40 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 bets, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG+1 3-bets, Hero caps, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (14.20 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

River: (16.20 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 18.20 BB
Main Pot: 18.20 BB, between UTG+1 and Hero. > Pot won by UTG+1 (18.20 BB).

Results in white below:
UTG+1 shows Qc Kh (flush, ace high).
Hero shows Ad Ac (three of a kind, aces).
Outcome: UTG+1 wins 18.20 BB.

My reason for calling the river was that maybe he had a set and not a flusj from his limp-reraise.

2: Read on MP1 : Loose PF, post-flop plays good hands.

PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Turn: (14.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, Hero calls.

River: (16.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 18.50 BB
Main Pot: 18.50 BB, between Hero and MP1. > Pot won by MP1 (18.50 BB).

Results in white below:
Hero shows Ad Ac (two pair, aces and tens).
MP1 shows 6s 6c (full house, sixes full of tens).
Outcome: MP1 wins 18.50 BB.

I thought he might have had K6, K4 with TT counterfeiting his two pair.

3:
PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.05.

River: (9 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, BB raises, SB calls.

Final Pot: 13 BB
Main Pot: 13 BB, between BB and SB. > Pot won by BB (13 BB).

Results in white below:
BB shows 8c 8s (straight, ten high).
SB shows 9d 7d (two pair, nines and sevens).
Outcome: BB wins 13 BB.

These are 3 hands from my 15 minute stint at the tables, I just felt I needed some sort of break (I was also playing another tournament where I busted out with AQs vs AJo to a river J).

I will post some hands later right now I need to go to work.

Comments/Criticsm please.

Fold the turn or call for the ten outer?

I think your play was suboptimal, but certianly not horrible. Seems like you are having a downslide. It happens

Hand one: I play the same as you did. Even if he has the flush on the flop, you have 7 clean outs one the turn, and 10 on the river (to pair the board).

Hand two: I call the 3 bet on the flop instead of capping. (not a huge error though). It's not unreasonable to think a set or 2 pair. The rest is fine.

Hand three: I fold this flop. Negative implied odds. You don't have a strong draw here. Not a huge error (half a bb) in isolation, but compounded, making this call a routine could cost you.

I like both of these hands.
I would recommend you not post the results though. (Though it did allow me to see what a pussy MP1 was in hand 2 ).

Yeah, man do not post results; in effect you force us to offer sympathetic replies instead of constructive ones since we know know the outcome.

I also agree with Greg about the AJo. You raise this in early position. You end up with five seeing the flop. Since you are at micro, there could've been 7 to 9 people seeing the flop (even worse than 5); it happens and even pocket AAs aren't guaranteed to win against a full field. In short kill AJo, KJo, and the like in early position.

The hands where you had medium pocket pairs you flopped the overpair and set, respectively, but by the river there were three flush cards and three straight cards... not good at all. I have been in these situations as well and I often feel like I'm beat like Joe Pesci in the movie Casino, but yet I call.... These stupid bad beats are small in number (or should be) and yr quality plays where you consistently win should clear up these statistical aberrations.

Dude you are just getting bad beats on most of these. My sympathies, of course. But just keep playing smart and it will even out eventually.

Good luck.

Hey toon,
Hand 1- I would raise the turn, planning to call a 3bet. If he calls, lead any non heart or a heart that pairs the board. If he 3bets, call the river unless the board pairs.
Hand 2- Your line here really confused me. Why do you cap the flop and then check the turn? If you are sure you're behind on the flop, don't cap. If you're not behind, then lead the turn.
Hand 3- If I'm staying in beyond the flop, I'm raising. I think that calling is the worst of the three choices here, but a fold is fine in this place.

Hey toon,
Hand 1- raise pf, otherwise I play the same.
Hand 2- I think you played this hand fine. I wouldn't go crazy with my bottom set when the turn puts a 4str8 on the board.

My thinking in hand1 was to get its HU with UTG+1 by capping the flop and driving out the other drawers.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Hand 1:
I'd likely raise the turn.

Hand 2:
Why did you check the turn?

Hand 3:
Raise the flop and take a free turn card if you get the chance.
