Re: Does anyone else think about Holdem all day long?
I think there are personality types that tend to obsess about things. I know that I can get really hooked on thinking about poker. But I can also get really hooked about thinking about a problem at work, or the tiling project I'm doing in my bathroom, or the install of a water pump on my car, or other things. Before it goes on for too long, make sure you find things other than poker to obsess about. |

Re: Does anyone else think about Holdem all day long?
I'm a federal employee.
I really shouldn't need to explain any further, but just in case: My typical workday includes about 5 hours of reading about poker in some way (forum/book/articles/etc.). Edit: 5 hours is a very conservative estimate. |

No,
I think about triple draw a lot. If you're actually thinking about strategy/tactics, I'm all for it. If you're just sitting around thinking "I can't wait until I can get home and play holdem" you have a problem. Whether that's an addiction problem or just a dullness problem I can't tell you. |

Re: Does anyone else think about Holdem all day long?
While at work I enjoy reading about poker strategy (SSH, ITH, King's new book) and look forward to using my new found ideas to lose even greater amounts of bankroll
