Default Playing Pocket JJs and TTs

What do you guys do if there's a raise and reraise in front of you and you have JJ or TT?

I generally muck it. There will be other hands coming along soon enough

it depends on the people who are doing the betting and what position and # of players simply because this helps me determine what hands they have.

i have tossed 'em, capped 'em, and cold called with 'em

I didn't want to get too specific because obviously there are times it's a clear re-raise and other times it's a clear fold.

In general though, when I don't have a good read I've been mucking it and I'm wondering if that's right.

Mucking it is fine if the pot will probably be 3-way and the other guys are know to be passive or rockish.

Against unknowns and if I'm playing tables that tend to be aggro I'm usually capping here and expecting to take the pot down if no A hits the flop.

With a couple limpers or cold callers I might cold call and play it for set value if I think the pot will be 4 or 5 way because the implied odds are huge in these spots, especially if the blinds are total loose fish.

In a family pot I'll always cap it for value.

I like JJ and TT and tend to play them more than muck them. Basically I need a read to muck them.

I'm surprised so many people fold them. Usually I'll reraise depending on their pfr% and what I've seen. With no reads I'll reraise and if it's capped call and play the flop carefully, but be ready to fold.

Depends on my reads, although I am heavily in favor of calling or raising.

Against a table full of morons I cap with JJ and am ready to dump if any overcards whatsoever show up. I've done this with TT before as well.

Against really tight players who would never 3 bet with less than AA/KK/QQ/AK I would lean to fold TT.

Never in my life have I folded pocket jacks preflop in limit, but TT I have a couple of times.

Note: Two times in my life I have cold called capped betting with TT and both times flopped sets and won huge pots, and yes both times overpairs were out, so my initial call was probably faulty.

I call with JJ and wait to see if the original PFR caps.
