(OT) Calling all Chicago/midwest are STTFiots

I never realized how many of us there were. I was thinkin of doin a get together on the boats in indiana, scrippa club, or just a cookout on a weekend. This is a thread to start brainstorming. I wouldn't mind organizing something like a indiana boat gamble/drink your brains out kinda night. If we wanted to do something bigger (rent a place, meet at someone's house, or have a midwest HUSTTF championship) i woudln't be able to arrange it because i wouldn't know where to begin.

This thread is a more or less brainstorming thread as to if people want to hang out, when people would want to hang out, and what venues look attractive. There might be the problem of having too many underage kids... so tell me if are 18+ or 21+. And of course if non chicago area peeps wanna come, they are more then welcomed to say when they will be in town.

Also, it sux to be around chicago and have poor/broke friends 'cuz i can't do anything cool, so this'll be a chance for me to spend some of my winnings.

I'm a $200 flight to chitown and have free room and board at the dali-inn, so I'd be down. We could also all meet up at Caesar's Indiana or something like that. Lets Gambooooool.

I'm in gradschool at UChicago, i.e. hell. I mean, Hyde Park rules.....dohhh. Coming from Montreal to Hyde Park is like sleeping with Jessica Alba and then being humped by a dog.

Anyways, whatever. I'm in.

I would love to get in on this, but I'm only 19, and I don't have a car (go to school in Madison) and transportation would be tricky. But if other Madison area guys would be heading down, I would be really interested.

depending on the weekend, i can make it.

i'll next be in chicago the weekend of the weekend after this coming one. (weekend of the 19th i think?) general cookout, eating, whatever is cool by me. tons of good places i know of in chicago for large party foods/drinks.

Ugh, I get married that weekend (19th), so I can't attend. But I would definitely be down for whatever otherwise, or in the future.
