I'm recovering from a month hiatus, so I'm trying to work my way back into the game. Lotta changes during the month I was gone... Party split from ... well, Party, and PokerAce went subscription.

1. Buy 2 poker books (haven't decided which, non-tournament books, though, probably ToP + 1 other).
2. Play 200 hands/night.

This will remain my goal through January (2 books/month). I think I'm missing something theoretical-wise about the game and I'm going to the Mount to get the great swami's take on the games.

We are a virus. Back during our run in 99, I lived close to there and my friends and I would always go to Damon's on away game saturdays to watch all the games. It was great, since we (hokies) outnumbered hoos most weekends. Wasn't a strong season for them, though, so that was a big factor.

I was a freshmen at Tech in 99. It was definitely a good year to be there. Now I'm in Charlottesville and I feel like I've infiltrated enemy territory.

I've never been much for these goal thingys but what the hell.

1. Beat 1/2 6-max for 4+BB/100 over at least 10K hands

2. Find time to post on 2+2

3. Read King Yao's new book

Last month I did my first ever "I'm gonna play 10K hands at the same stakes in a month" goal, and I ended up completing it in 10 days. I just got into a groove, 8-tabling the $0.50/$1.00 on Poker Stars. I ended up +2.48 bb/100.

So, lemme raise the bar for November:

1> Play 30K hands under the same conditions within the calendar month
2> Use Poker Tracker for more than just profitability tracking and stats comparison

By #2 I mean, I need to start making note of stand-out hands and go back and analyze them, maybe post some of them here for input.

1.) 10k hands 2-tabling 5/10 6-max
2.) Continue working my way through MLH
3.) Post more hands, hopefully in Low Limit HUSH
4.) Continue to improve hand reading skills, via detailed hand history analysis
5.) Maybe another shot at party's 3/6 6-max, I still have a much harder time there than at Stars (I'm about breakeven there)
6.) Run good
