Default I bluff

Party 10/20 6-max.

Decent TAG, probably a 2+2er, open raises from MP, and I 3-bet KK OTB. Blinds fold and he calls.

Flop is AJ6r.

He check/calls.

Turn is 7.

He check/calls.

River is a 3.

He bets, I raise...

Thatīs exactly why the WA/WB line is so good with bet-call on the end. I would never fold an ace there to you.

Bad. He's not paying off with anything you beat. An ace is folding very rarely.

Oh, ok. This post was really just in indirect way to ask if we should be bet/calling or bet/folding when using the WA/WB line with our weak aces.

Most people never bet/fold the river. He open-raised in MP so he probably has a decent ace here. The weak-ace WA/WB lines I've seen people bet/folding to here have been mostly in blind defense, no?

I was thinking he might fold A8, A9, AT. If you put villain in the CO, I was thinking he might also fold down to A2.

i think the very large majority of 10/20 6-max players, and this includes TAGs, take this line then fold to the river raise with an ace a miniscule amount of the time. the raise coming from MP means he's not very likely to have a small ace, and if he raised from the CO and you 3-bet from the button, well it's a steal situation and he's less likely to fold any ace anyways.

I tried this about a year ago with the same hand on almost the exact same board and got called by whatever the second pair was (I think a queen). I stopped doing it after that.
