Chips arms races are always fun. Eventually the floor gets annoyed but oh well.

Poker Bob you buy in for 50 bets? I'd like to see someone sit down with 2k consistantly at 20-40.
I don't think it is rude, and who cares if people this it is. I buy in for a lot when I want to build chip castles.

All of Pokerbob's games are 3 chip/6 chip games (I'm pretty sure), so buying in for 50 bets is just 3 racks and makes a lot of sense.

The fake is real. Talk to New Jersey if you think it sucks.

Nope.

That is just a goofy picture. For the sheer reason they are all whites. Make a stack like that with $5 or $25 chips, and then it would be more impressive.

Imagine if you were the guy that had to sit next to that? Think it might get in the way at all. It would probably block your view of other players at the table.

As long as you have enough on every hand so that you don't wind up all in, it makes no difference. When I lived in california, I typically bought $200 or more for 3-6 kill, and it wouldn't be uncommon for me to buy $400 in those crazy 4-8 kill games. Anyone who thinks it's rude to buy in for more than the dead minimum is just a moron anyway. If they say anything, just buy four times as many chips as you were going to buy, and make sure it's all in $1 chips. Maybe you'll put them on tilt.
