Default Splitting up your bankroll

This may be better in another forum (please let me know which), but I'm trying to figure out how to split up my bankroll among my bank, and online sites. Assuming a 300BB+ bankroll, it seems silly to have it all sitting in my Party and UB accounts, so I was looking to put a portion in an interest earning account. I could also use that account to use for live games when I get the chance. Anyone else done this? Suggestions on how to split it up? Is half too much to stash away?

FWIW, I split my bankroll roughly evenly between my party account and a big wad of 20s and 100s I keep hidden in various places in my room or on my person.

At the beginning of the month, I make sure there's 10 buy-ins (250BB) in Empire, withdrawing the rest and putting it into an ING savings account. (i'd refer you, but I think fatwallet.com has a better deal for you if you go through them)

(10 buy ins because I think you need at least 5 to 4-table effectively (sometimes your money is tied up for a minute or two when you change tables) and to account for a small downswing (100BB) -- a larger downswing requires 2-3 days to reload, during which I can step down or away to take a look at my game.)

I couldn't imagine having less than 150bb on a site. 50bb's, 4 tables, that's 200bb's in action at once.

You should buy a safe for your home. I also keep cash around for the local games and have no interest in leaving it sitting around for someones egg-hunt.

A safe is item #1 on the back-to-school shopping list.

You have to be playing pretty big to have bank account or money market interest amount to anything worthwhile.

I keep everything in Neteller, except 100 BBs in my play account. At the end of each month, I sweep my winnings into Neteller and reduce the amount online back to 100 BBs. I do not trust Party Poker.
