Default 99 turns full

reads- villain is over aggro, but not an idiot. when he bets it means he has something, but he can fold to resistance.

100nl 6max
effective stack 105
dealt to hero 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in MP

pre flop- hero limps, CO limps, BT and SB fold, BB checks.

flop (3.5)-5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
BB bets 1, hero raises to 4, CO folds, BB calls.

turn (11.5)-2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
BB checks, hero checks.

river (11.5)-6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BB bets 8, hero calls.

should i be betting this turn often? can/should i raise this river?

Raise preflop.

Rest looks ok but I might min-raise river and fold to a 3-bet.

I probably raise the river. It's just too likely he has 5x, a flush, or 34. I wouldn't make much of a raise though, but more than min.

Turn, meh, you're made, I guess letting him get a lessor made hand's not a bad idea. Maybe a nice donkbet of $4-$5 on the turn would be OK.

Raising the river would be good metagame.

Turn bet makes sense, say $6 (half pot). An A or K on the river would not be good. As played, raise the river to $12.

Because this way you can show down crappy hands on the river with just a flop bet. Protect your turn checks.

Got it, guess I have to work more on metagame considirations. Poker is tough... and deeper and deeper for every day.
