Default Lakers/Jazz

Horrible call if they don't overturn it. And I'm even a Kobe fan

I was gonna post about this too. Those refs must have felt like assholes as they watched the replays

i wouldn't blame kobe though. even he didn't think it worked. he walked away, and it was a late call by the official.

Just on the game in general . . .

Kobe has to be the hardest superstar to watch as a fan. I'm yelling at him for taking impossible shots half the game and then cheer when he makes half of said shots. And then he has a game like this where he just looks terrible for most of the game.

Although I like the fact that he doesn't remember that he just missed 8 straight shots, you would think he would try to attack the basket or something when he is having an off night. It seems like if he's shooting poorly he keeps taking outside jumpers to prove to himself that he can make them.

He's still probably the best perimeter player in the league, but he's infuriating.

P.S. Sasha Vujacic . . . finally.

i agree, sometimes you are just like 'why would you even put that up?', but really, it's the triangle. it's designed just so he can take upto 40 percent of all shots.

I don't really get mad at the shots he takes within the triangle. Most of the shots that I get mad about are the ones where he is the one bringing the ball up and just pulls from 25 feet. Or when he pump fakes three times, the defender doesn't jump, and instead of passing it back out he just throws up a fadeaway. I love his pump fakes since it gets the defenders up so often, but if it doesn't work, it seems like he feels the need to shoot anyway.
