ok, I'm going to split the difference. I am starting with $75 on a site to be determined. I will play .5/1 until I get to $150, then 1/2 until $300, etc.

.5/1 -> 1/2 -> 2/4 -> 3/6 -> 5/10 -> 10/20 -> 15/30 -> and on we go

How high do you guys think I can get by Christmas? I won't be doing this challenge exclusively....just part time. I think 20/40. That will mean I made a profit of $2900 which would be very nice. For this challenge, I will only be playing at full tables to minimize variance, and I may not stay at the same site the entire time.

I like this. I might try it, if I didn't have another job.

play 3-3.5k hands/day, 5 times a week. set a schedule for yourself. id say something silly but you want something +$. if you dont think this is challenging, just try. youll want to quit after the first week. but once you get through it you will feel damn good because you played so much and persevered.

Spicy got upto 15/30

I meant the challenge, not the player. I've made it to 3/6, tho! Recently I haven't been able to put three hours together to finish one off, so I never get past 2/4.

give me $1000 so your BR is lower. this will challenge you to play better since you dont have extra money to squander. i will return $500 of the money at the end of your challenge.

Learn something new about poker. Game theory, probability theory, something like that.

I don't think that this is too suitable to me. I have a full time job and am unable to play at all most weekends. I just don't have enough time for something like this. it is a very good idea though. I may try it in the future.
