Default Should I be playing 2/4 or .02/.04 ?

I have a roll of 5k that has been built on whoring. I am currently a break even player at 1/2. If my eventual goal is to be beating 2/4 should I move up and just get to learning the skills needed for the level I want to beat, or should I be moving down and focusing on improving my game?

Stay at 1/2 until you are beating it. Work on your skills there. The tuition will be cheaper.

I really don't think learning at .02/.04 is worth it. Stick to 1/2 or .5/1 on party for 20k hands and re-evaluate.

If you want dumb loose games similar to 2cent/4cent play a site with a minimum of 25cent/50cent, then move up a limit once you feel you have the game clocked.....

Agree on .25/.50, but .50/1.00 might be even better. Just because you have the roll doesn't mean you should play higher if you're not a winning player at your level. Fix your leaks at a low level, but it has to be high enough that it might start to hurt the players in the wallet if they play like idiots. FWIW, if you don't care about paying a little "tuition", play at the highest level you can stand to win money at. It will make you a better player in the long run.
