i openraise 57s BN, SB threebets, BB folds, i call.

flop cometh 245r.
bet, call.

turn 4.
bet, raise, threebet, i cap it.
this takes 1.3 sec.

river 6.
checkcheck.

Guy is on tilt, and think OP is full of it. He is 3 betting a wide range here, and is unlike to fold to a cap. Note that any Ace has a gutshot as well as overs, which will induce him to 3 bet more often.

well, yeah, i see what you're doing, and yeah i think it's fine. but really, why risk it? he's got lots of outs against you if he doesn't have you beat. he's not folding if you cap. if you just call the 3-bet he's surely betting the river. so if you take this line and he misses you get 4 bets, if he rivers you and donks the river he might get 5, if he has you beat already and bets the river he gets 5. if you just call down after the 3-bet you get 4 bets no matter what. so, why is this line better?

Hmm...well this game must be MUCH more aggro than the 10 if people routinely 3-bet unclean overs+gutshot after people wait to raise them on the turn! Thx for the clarification guys.

I agree with you, wheelz. I feel like we're getting 5 BB in while behind and 4 BB while ahead by taking this line. If we call down after turn 3-bet, we get in 4 BB whether ahead or behind+we can raise a 5 on the river.
