Default WSOP Circuit at Harrahs - 2 Interesting Hands

I played in several of the No-Limit tournaments this week at Harrahs. Both of these hands occurred at my table, but I was not personally involved.

Hand #1: Round 2, Blinds $50-$100. UTG limps. 2 folds. MP raises to $400. All fold to UTG who calls. Flop comes:

J99

UTG checks, MP bets $400. UTG raises $400, MP raises all in for $2200 more. UTG calls.

UTG has AJ. MP has JJ.

Turn is 9. River is 9.

Hand #2: Round 2, Blinds $50-$100. All fold to button who raises to $250. BB calls. BB is sitting next to me and I see he has 9c8c. Flop is:

7c6c5c

BB checks. Button bets $500. Before BB can act, the dealer has a brain fart, and burns and turns:

7h

Then the fun begins. BB states action hasn't finished yet. Floor is called and obvious call is made for the turn to come back. LP (who must be a relative newcomer to poker) screams no way and shows everyone on the other side of the table his pocket 7's !!!

BB says it is ok with him if the card stays.

Should have had all of LP's money.

Wow, you're in the storm (and I would say the eye of the storm, but it's all calm and peaceful there). Fun hands.
