Just because I can't stand the Bush Administration's incompetence does not make me a liberal. I think Guiliani would be our best option at this point. Frist is too partisan and caves into the Christian Taliban. The only Democrat I like in Congress is Biden.

Bush has proven beyond all doubt he cannot handle the job, has completely lost control and needs to be replaced immediately.

I'd go into detail about why this statement is wrong, but it's clear from the outset that I'd be wasting my time as your mind is made up.

I've yet to hear a compelling reason to change my mind on it.

A quick question for you: In the 4 years Bush has been Prsident has he ever done anything that you thought was unwise or didn't agree with?

If you're still defending the crappy response to this hurricane I think I already know the answer.

I'll go with the rest of your post except the Biden bit.

Biden is simply too oily. I'd take Hilary, Wyden, Boxer, Feinstein, Pryor, Baucus as the democrat senators who come across well.

Absolutely! He's definitely not my perfect pick for president, but imo he's been better than the alternative.

I'm a big believer in responsiblity and laying it where it belongs. Casey Sheehan wasn't killed by George Bush, he was killed by some goon in Iraq. Bush is not killing the refugees from N.O., the third largest hurricane to make landfall on U.S. soil as well as numerous failures of gov't (suprise suprise) on many levels. It seems to be a knee-jerk reaction among Bush-bashers that anything that goes wrong at any level of gov't is Bush's responsiblity and I think this attitude is wrong. Just my opinion though.

I've liked Giuliani for a while...not as much as I like McCain...but a lot.

I firmly believe this country needs a straight-talking prick in charge...and those two are the closest we have.

As for Pres. Bush...if we could combine Cheney(prick) and Bush(straight-talking(sorta)), we might be getting somewhere...but we'd also have to execute Rove and wipe him from President Dick Bush's memory entirely.
