Surprising thing was that Hero was actually a big favorite on the flop (44%), and as somebody else stated, close to even money vs. the aces. So getting it all-in on the flop (either via lead/reraise or check-raise) was absolutely the correct move given the dead money in the pot. I count 18 clean outs for Hero. |

Re: Pokerhand.com results
Wow. I would never figure one to call all-in with 9JQK here, but I guess that speaks to my inexperience. I'm especially surprised to see that his call was not all that "wrong" either.

Re: Pokerhand.com results
People frequently call all in on a board like that with somehting like 9JQK after a oreflop raise looking to hit 2 pair and pick off aces

I used to think that, the 10-20 taught me different. gl Dave [/ QUOTE ] So you fold this in the first three positions against good players? |

The problem with A567 is when you make the nuts, no-one can make the idiot end straight to pay you off. [/ QUOTE ] Thats not what this hand is looking for, this hand is looking for a Kc/4c/8 flop where someone has K/K and is an underdog, or a 4c/5c/8 where someone has the same straight, but you got the nut flush redraw. |

Re: A567ss hand in SB
shouldn't have called all the raises but bet the pot on the flop because you're actually a favorite versus dry aces but not a huge one so you wouldn't mind if they passed.

Re: A567ss hand in SB
Depends how raisy isolationy they are. If we are playing more normally, i.e. several to the flop, then i might limp and call a raise. If it is very raise preflop, 2 to flop, autobet flop, then I either pass preflop or call and fold to a pot raise.
