I would second this -- they have serious communication issues that derive from growing so rapidly. Heaven forbid you be standing 15 meters from the podium when they call your name; no matter how loud you scream "Lock it up!!!!" you just lost your seat, pal.

Gee, I wonder why it's always so crowded around the podium.

Some of the dealers are good, and many of the floors are good. I don't tip the good dealers better, but I do give them another kind of "tip": move to AC or Vegas so you can keep your tokes.

Heh, I've got a friend of a friend that used to deal at Foxwoods who packed up his family of 4 and moved to Vegas, primarily for this very reason. The make off tokes at the Woods must absolutely suck.

Any idea when Mohegan is re-opening their poker room?

But you've gotta be a pretty bad cardroom to make me add 1.5 hours each way on a regular basis. Foxwoods has issues, but not so bad to make me not go. Maybe bad enough to make me stay home more often and play online.

The Akwenasne reservation is in Northern NY/Quebec/Ontario. I wasn't aware of a casino there though, so maybe he's talking about some other Akwhatever.
