When does WSOP 2005 start playing on TV?

Just curious, when should I look out for the 2005 WSOP on ESPN? When does the first tourney get played, not just the main event.

I have to wait until the 23rd of August in order to see a WSOP event for the first time? If that's the case, I wish that ESPN had started broadcasting episodes sooner, or airing more than one show a week which gets several reruns.

Even worse is the fact that we have to wait until October before they start showing the main event. That's too long of a wait.

Notice how the final rounds of the Main Event fall during Sweeps - that's most likely not an accident.

These tournaments were in July.

It takes a while to get stuff together, grow up.

Last year none of the events were televised until late September I believe. I think the coverage has been pretty good so far for the circuit events.

Somehow I find it incredible that ESPN didnt tape the woman's event, especially with a moviestar at the final table as the chipleader. Seems like a really obvious choice to me.

When the women's final table got down to 4, they stopped for the day so ESPN could cover it. They also weren't taping the tournament Johnny Chan won, but I think they're going to cover those two at the same time of the $2500 NL that was taking place, since that was full of mostly unknowns.
