Re: Folding aces, preflop, in a cash game
[ QUOTE ]
For example 3 players go all in. One has KQs. (hearts) One has 9Ts. (diamonds) Another has AJo. (A of hearts) Still want to play this AA hand preflop? Probably not. [/ QUOTE ] What are you crazy? In a cash game, I couldn't get my chips in fast enough in this situation. AsAc is 58.7% vs AhJc, KhQh and 9d10d. You're putting in 25% of the money. If you fold here in a cash game knowing these hands, you are the weakest tightest person in history. |

Re: Folding aces, preflop, in a cash game
Dan,
Al raises to 10000 chips, Bob calls, Chuck raises to 10001 chips. Al and Bob drop dead. They forfeit any claim to the pot and their 10000 chips stay in the pot. You have QQ. Chuck flips AK face up. You are saying you would fold. That is too awful for words. |

[ QUOTE ]
If you fold here in a cash game knowing these hands, you are the weakest tightest person in history. [/ QUOTE ] That's an insult to weak-tight players. Weak-tight means you wait for these situations, passing up other profitable opportunities. Folding AA here is not weak-tight. It's just stupid. |
