Default Hockey is Back

There will be an NHL season this year.

The NHLPA and the Owners have agreed to a $45 million dollar salary cap. Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky were reportedly major contributors in making this "post-deadline" deal to work. This is expected to be formally announced later today. Source: Illinois baketball halftime report on ESPN.

If it happens, I'll watch.

I think Bettman and Goodenow should both be strung up and the all-star teams should take turns hitting one-timers at their nuts.
