Late comer, so excuse the delay...

1. Get PokerTracker

2. Move up to 1/2 limit by the end of the year. I am currently at .05/.10 with $80. I started at .02/.04 with $50, and this was not very long ago. This goal is a long way off, but I hope I can do it.

3. Continue to study the game. Re-read both SSHE and ToP...several times.

4. Have fun while playing.

[/ QUOTE ]

Let's see here...

1. I have yet to purchase PokerTracker, but when my bankroll gets to $355, that will be the first thing I purchase.

2. I am currently at .50/1.00 limit now, and I just made the switch from .25/.50. So far, so good, it seems. I am actually thinking that I will probably be able to get to 2/4 by the end of the year. That would be nice.

3. I have re-read both of these books an additional time, and I am gearing up for another re-read soon.

4. It is all about having fun, and I am certainly doing that.

Here goes...

In 2005 I will...

1) Bonus Whore. I will open an account at every site that offers a open-bonus and will find a good pattern of monthly bonuses that I will go trough like a paper-route thereafter. I will take advantage of as many reloads as possible.
On point!
2) Learn to play 6-max hopefully getting up to 5/10 by the end of the year.
Now playing 1/2 6-max! And losing! No worries though as I'm only down 45BB's through 3K so one good session and I'll be in the green. VP$IP 23%, PFR 14.9%, WTSD 40%, W$aSD 45% , AA (0.21)BB/100. Gotta love variance kicking your ass a soon as you try something new. (I keep telling myself it's variance but I deserve to be losing with all the mistakes I've made. Though almost everyone else there makes more mistakes so I know I easily could be winning with a normal distibution of luck.)
3) Be able to comfortable play 5/10 full ring games.
Currently bangin' away at 2/4 and some 3/6
4) Play live at least once in a casino.
Not yet....
5) Learn NL. Win at least one NL tournament.
Learning MTT's not winning. I can't wait for HOH part 2. Oh yeah!
6) Learn Omaha.
Why did I think this was a priority? I can't remember. I doubt this goal will have a place at my dinner table this year.
7) Make at least 20K in earnings.
On pace...and very satisfied.
8) Do all this without hurting my marriage.
2+2 is starting to piss her off. Bad beat.

ive been playing for 1.5 months. the first month i turned $60 into $650 no problem but since then things have been going downhill which has caused me to study more/pay more attention, which is a great thing. starting with my chump match yesterday i went on to win nearly 100BB at 50/1. 1/2 6 max is my next stop, hopefully in a month or so. My brother and his enormous roll play at 30/60 but i dont ever plan on getting there- where's my ambition, right? just 3/6 or 5/10 couple tables is fine with me. summer is my time to advance because next year at school ill be 'working hard again'.

Bad beat? Don't you mean, coin flip.
So true it's both funny and tragic.

In the middle of last month, I decided I was going to bonus whore to finally make myself a bankroll big enough to play on Party. I took $50 and deposited it into Bet365poker for their 100% bonus. That took me about two weeks to clear, and left me with around $105. Literally two days before I finished that bonus, I referred a friend to Pacific, which gave me $100 absolutely free, with no clearing requirements.

Withdrawing that and the $100 from bet365 gave me $200 to put into Paradise and do GRANNY. I finished that bonus yesterday, and $100 up to boot ($1/$2 draw seems to come naturally to me ). I withdrew $405 from Paradise last night, and as soon as it's in my Neteller account, I can deposit it into Party and begin (FINALLY) playing .50/1 on Party

Just my luck that a reload bonus began today, too..

Here are my goals, in no particular order:

1)Get my 1/2-full winrate out of the red.

2)Build my bankroll up to 3k. At this point, buy a 2001fp and delve into 1/2-6max. Also start "living" off my bonuswhoring money and let my "winnings" increase my BR instead of the other way around.

3)Go back to college in the Fall without the hassle of a full-time job getting in the way of my studies. Also, be able to play approx. 4k hands a week without it affecting school and such.

4)Be playing 2/4 comfortably by the end of the year.

5)Start a savings with the goal in mind to have enough money to live comfortably for 6 months, plus a little for emergencies. Hopefully this will allow enough breathing room to confidently live on my own without compromising my other goals.

6)Start a tournament BR. Become an exceptional tournament player.

7)Develop a routine schedule for Re-reading TOP, HEFAP, and SSH once every 4 months or so.

8)Get to a point where I post here daily. Become a respected member of this forum.

Those are my poker related goals. Some are life oriented, but directly affected by poker.

In January k000k said: In 1 year I would like to be 4-tabling 1/2 on autopilot, and winning the same BB/100 as I am in .5/1 now. I'd like to be able to win 2/4 or 3/6 playing and concentrating on 1 table. It'd be great if I could be 4-tabling 2/4 or 3/6, but I dont know if that's realistic or not.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm definately making a killing at the 2/4 tables, I basically said 'screw 1/2', after about 20k hands I'm just barely even... Im up about $2k after about 7k hands of 2/4, so my bb/100 is sky high. I know I'm just running hot, I haven't hit a single downstreak > 30bb so far.

Nonetheless, getting off to such a great start makes me confident and lets me play aggressive without being scared.. When I first started it was scary, felt like such big $$ going around.. I remember my 1st 3bet, I thought 'holy shiat I just plopped $12 down..', but that novelty wore off and it's all just chips and bets again.

I'm very pleased with my progress, I guess next on my agenda is to build up a little more BR and work my way into 3/6 and 5/10. I need to work on table selection, datamining, etc.. I also want to take some time out and read up a little.. I'm ashamed to say I haven't even finished reading the books I have, including HEPFAP.
