Default J8c raise from button

BB is 56/6/1.8 over 70 hands.
He seems very reckless and just not capable of folding anything. I saw him call down AK unimproved when CR'd on river heads up.

Party Poker 5.00/10.00 Hold'em (4 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 folds, Hero raises, 1 folds, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Flop: (6.40 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks. (Having only the flush draw and knowing he's not folding, should I have bet the flop anyway?)

Turn: (3.20 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls. (Raise?)

River: (5.20 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero folds.

On the flop I bet with the intention of taking a free card on the turn since you seem to have no fold equity. You obviously call the river if you pair up as you'd be ahead of the majority of hands he'd bet with (since you showed weakness on the turn)

As played though, I just call the turn like you did. I don't think you have much fold equity.

This seems to be a pretty obvious checkraise attempt. The guy threebet preflop, then checked. Why not take the free card now? It's probably the only one you will get.
