Default Re: Annie Duke\'s book: anyone read it?

Hi Mike:

Please don't take this so hard. I'm just relating exactly what we do and how we do it. If it's different from what your editor told you than that's not an issue with me. On the other hand, if it's different from what our experience is, and we have become very successful which also means we have access to many book buyers with important companies and have had many detailed conversations with them, then I will make a point of it.

As for planting hundreds of favorable reviews on Amazon, you're not giving me enough credit. If you consider all the web sites out there that have favorable comments about our stuff which of course drives sales, the number reaches well into the thousands.

By the way, I agree that the sales rank of your book is positive. It's also my opinion that the legs for your type of book won't be very strong and your sales should begin to drop.

Sorry about that. But it's my opinion that the kind of book you have written, while it might be very well done (and I do understand that's the case), won't be the type of poker book that will hold its own in the long run. Of course, time will tell if I'm right and if I know this business as well as I think I do.

best wishes,
Mason
