Canterbury 6/12. Table is playing like it's 2/4, with 6-8 to the flop every hand. Nemesis is a LAG, and will three-bet with any hand I'd raise on the button.

Your Hero picks up AA in MP. 2 players limp, Milo raises, and Nemesis three-bets. At this table, every three-bet has resulted in a cap (5-bets at Canterbury), often 4-5 way. A few folds to nemesis on the button, who three bets.

All fold to Milo, who 4-bets. Nemesis re-raises, as does Milo. In the end, Nemesis just calls my 8-bet preflop.

Flop is JQKr.

Milo...is thankful he has a day job.

This looks like a perfect time for a SB/WB line.

I am familiar with WA/WB, but what is SB/WB? Slightly Behind/Way Behind?

Sorry for the n00b question.

bet and calls his ass down if he raises. how nuts is this doooood?

A bad line IMHO my friend, you know the villain is going to bet like 95% of the time, let him do all the work for you. There is no need to protect the Hero's hand in this situation.

Interesting. I would not have thought of this line.

So at this point we obviously aren't folding. Sounds like we are looking to check/call the whole way based upon the fact that there is nothing that we can do to protect our hand?

That doesn’t make any since. Bet the flop and if re-raised fold?

Can't wait for my first trip to the casino. B/c apparently they do LOL. Why would he have stopped if he had aces?

If you are advocating folding this flop if raised, that is awful. If you are behind a flopped set, you have 6 solid outs, and the pot is what, like 20 SB? and you want to fold for 1 more?

Folding would be retardedly bad.

Every hand that he could reasonably hold leaves you with at least 6 cards to improve (if you even need to improve), and the pot is already nearly 10 big bets. You're still 21% to win the hand against pocket kings. 1:4 being paid 20:1. Assuming you miss on the turn, you are 14% to win. In this case, you're being paid 12:1 for a 6:1 shot at winning.

Even if he showed you his set of kings, you would gladly call him on the flop and turn. It isnt even close.

That's if you KNEW he had a set.

If the villain is nuts enough to make it 8 bets with anything but aces, he's probably nuts enough to do it with less than kings or queens too.
I dont think AK or 10/10 can be completely ruled out, even if they are remote. Plus there is the chance he too holds AA. It might be more likely that he has a set, but it's not out of the question that you have him beat (certainly better than 1 in 14 times) - which makes calling at the river an absolute given too.

Check/call seems like the only rational way of playing the hand after the flop, unless you want to bet/call the flop before doing so. Is it really necessary to try and push an edge though? You're showing the hand down no matter what. The only reason to raise is when you think you've got an equity edge, and it's extremely improbable that you do here. Certainly worse than 50%, and definitely less than the necessary 66% (since better hands raise almost every time).
