Mazal Tov!

BTW, what is the average gift for a 3o year old couple, and where do you live?

How's the wife taking it?

Wow, I just realized how many ways that can be interpreted.

We got about 25 checks total and about 20 cards with cash. I'd say we got maybe 4 each of $50, $75, $100, $150, and $200 with a couple higher ones from our parents. The cash envelopes had anywhere from $50 to $300, with $100-$200 being the most common. We live in Pennsylvania (Philly area) and our family and friends are neither rich nor poor. Probably mostly middle class with a few closer to upper class.

And to answer the previous question about why I was posting was because the wedding was yesterday but we don't leave for our honeymoon until about 2 hours from now. I guess going to sleep is out of the question by this time.

Remember how you feel right now, it only gets better.

That is one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever read on the internet even after I corrected the misspelling.

PS: My marriage lasted less then two years and I didn't start playing poker until after I told her we were getting a divorce.

Congrats.
Reminds me of Don Meredith and Monday Night Footbal, remember?

"Turn out the lights, the partys over"

Of course tis is coming from a married man.

Hope everything goes well. Jon
