Default 5/5 at Lucky Chances

When is the most common time at LC when the 5/5 NL table is going. I went there recently but due to lack of demand there wasn't a table. I thought the rake for 1/2 was too high, $6/ half hour. Especially with buy in capped at 100

well i haven't been there in like 6 months. but i used to play there a lot and back then the 5-5 was only spread on sunday nights after people started busting out of the tourney.

could have changed though. just call and ask a floorman.

Sunday is the only time right now. No maximum buy-in.

The capped buy-in game goes all the time. Unlimited rebuys.

As to the rake, it'll never be less than it is now, so I like to think of the going rate, whatever it is, as a bargain.

You can pay time out of your pocket. This might be the best idea for the game. If you start doing it, a lot of other people do as well, and more money stays on the table.

Call ahead before you go. It apparently didn't run the weekend before last.

Also, plan to get there right as it starts or to show up really late (~1-2 am). Otherwise, you will get stuck in a shorhanded must move that is usually not anywhere near as good at the main game. So unless you don't mind playing in the 20 (which has been Ok but not great the couple of hours I've played in it on Sundays), showing up between 8-10 to play the 5/5 isn't a great plan.
