Can someone please explain why Jacks are called Larry's?

The mainstream name for them is actually hooks. I'll leave this one for you to figure out and I will give you a clue. Look at this: J

Could it possibly have something to do with Larry Flint?
Im guessing QJ is known as a bad Larry b/c Larry is now with a woman...hmm?
