I guess what I'm trying to say is as you get better try to work limping here into your game where appropriate. As you get better you will find your vpip creeping up -- this is common and IMO natural.

I have trouble with hands like ATs and A9s UTG, KJs UTG, KTs from MP1 when folded to me. While these are superior hands than A2s, it feels wrong to limp with them in these positions but raising them from these positions can be as much trouble as beneficial.

I'm a tight player and in EP I usually don't limp in with less than ATs

You can raise ATs in EP for value.

Since a majority of the time an Ace hit the boards you will be outkicked or worse.

Nope. Really not true.

Currently I'm playing Axs from any position to a single raise, maybe to two if I'm in late position and have an idea of what the raiser is doing. I consider it a speculative hand that is pretty easy to get away from if the flop doesn't hit and pays off pretty well when it straigtens out, flushes up, or is up against big non-ace pairs when an ace hits. I'll probably need to do some data mining and see what size leak this is.

Someone raises and you call with any suited ace? Really bad idea.
