Sorry, I'm used to jokes being funny, so I get thrown a lot.

People go see Caddyshack 2. Seeing Dan akyroyds pathetic Bill Murray clone will make you see the clear winner fo this poll

[/ QUOTE ]

And talk about trading down, Jackie Mason vs. Rodney Dangerfield.

aww be nice. He was trying. I think there's a poll here. Something alone the lines of 'what sequel to-be-made would you most hate; Battlefield Earth 2, Citizen Kane 2, etc

meh, maybe not.

this is a bad poll, sequels can't be bad if the first movie sucked balls too.

it simply does not get any worse than highlander 2

This is true, but last week I saw the "sequel" to A Christmas Story (it's called "It Runs in the Family"). Trainwreck. Utterly unfunny.

I'd have to define "worst sequel" as differential between the original and the follow-up, as opposed to "absolute worst".

Based on that - Godfather III and it's not close.

[/ QUOTE ]

For absolute worst on this list - from what I've seen probably jurassic Park III, absolutely terrible.

Sorry. I haven't personally seen all of these myself, and based on some of the voting, that's a good thing. Obviously I couldn't include all bad sequels, but I might have made a mistake including crappy sequels of crappy movies.

Add:

Jaws 3D
Meatballs II (as if the first one didn't suck)
Halloween III

The first Meatballs was great fun.

Halloween III was horrible.
