Under-full, too much action?
Hi everyone,
I've been lurking on these forums for quite a while, and I figured it was time to start contributing and posting some hands. This hand happened in a live 3/6 game; I'm wondering what you put both villains on, and if you call the river: 10-Handed Live 3/6, $500 max buy-in Hero has a fairly tight image. I've never seen either villain before, but Villain 1 seems weak-tight, and hasn't played a hand in about an hour; Villain 2 is playing fairly LAG. Villian 1 ($880) limps UTG, Villain 2 (covers) limps in LP, Hero ($1400) limps on Button with 44. 5 way to flop. FLOP ($30): J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] All check to hero, hero bets $30, both villains call. TURN ($120): 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Both check, hero bets $100, both call. RIVER: ($320): J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain 1 moves all-in for about $750, Villain 2 calls. Hero ??? |

Re: Under-full, too much action?
one of them almost absolutely has a flush, the other has JUST a jack often enough to make this a call, i'd say you're about 50% to win here getting 2 and change to 1

Re: Under-full, too much action?
if villain 1's weak tight, i'll put him on J8. villain 2 i think has a flush. i think you're behind here often enough that you can find a fold.

[/ QUOTE ] Villain 1 is weak tight, why would he limp UTG w/J8????? He either has a higher set/now boat, a flush(most likely) or AJ maybe. In my opinion, the pot is big enough to stick your money in on a little boat, barring any other reads. |

Re: Under-full, too much action?
Oh yeah, also, is it possible villain 1 could be using his weak tight image to make a huge bluff here?

Re: Under-full, too much action?
sorry. def read the hand wrong. thought villain 1 was SB and villain 2 was BB for some reason. im a retard. anyway, re-reading the post, i really can't put villain 1 on a hand. J8s that he decided to limp w/ maybe? either that or very poorly played higher set.

Re: Under-full, too much action?
jesus.
i cant hit the fold button here... if someone checkcalled 2 streets w/ a hand that now beats you on this board, that is sick. |

Re: Under-full, too much action?
I'd probably call.
You won't win every time, but I expect to see them both having flushes most of the time. I think any overset would have let you know on the turn, ditto top 2 pair or something like that. And also I probably don't think they'd call pf with J7 or J8. |
