I think it's fine but a bit read dependent on the two callers.

Make it 150 preflop and I think pushing is okay, but check-calling/raising all-in is maybe a bit better. You can't get either one to fold a Jack, so maybe snag a bit of value from bluffs/middle pairs?

CO was relatively solid, the other player was a typical player.

What if they check behind though? I really don't wanna see another overcard on the turn.

Hey what's the deal with making it 125 in L3 in $55s BTW? I keep seeing $55ers doing this and then posting very interesting postflop hands against like 3-5 opponents.

That would be a nightmare for your hand and I'd be forced to check-fold from that spot, but I think you've gotta take your chance to get some value from the hand. I wonder if leading out for 250 has any value. . .

I think the basic idea is that not many people are gonna call a raise to 125 but fold for 150. If that is true there are lots of benefits: You invest less chips in case you end up folding, the pot is smaller making post flop easier to play, c-bets cost fewer chips, etc.

I used to make it t125 a long long time ago. I then experimented with t150 for a while. It's now at t175.
