Re: Least entertaining TV poker player?
Totally forgot about Seidel. All the excitement of lukewarm oatmeal.

Re: Least entertaining TV poker player?
Erik Seidel easily got the worst end of the TV poker boom. A combination of no TV personality + bad recent tourney results + getting jobbed by Johnny Chan in rounders

Re: Least entertaining TV poker player?
It doesn't help him at all that he likes to hide his hole cards from the camera.

Quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Phil Ivey -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Co-Signed Good poker is one thing, watching a lunatic on the table is something totally different. Sometimes I am entertained by good poker, and sometimes it's the Tony G or X-22 freakshow. Phil Ivey plays great poker, but he makes Tim Duncan look like Brittany Murphy on speed. The man might as well be a robot. Even when he wins his face doesn't change, hes a human :| [/ QUOTE ] hes a bot. holla |

Re: Least entertaining TV poker player?
Erik Seidel. And I like him.
A lot of people in this thread are having a hard time telling the difference in who they dislike and who is boring. |

He made (before expences) $860k so far 2005. He cashed five times in wsop 2005, among them one win for $611k. He is #14 on wsop 2005 money list. 29th on 2005 list total. Yeah that must be real bad... Let's see your results. And what is "recent" anyway? With the big variance in the big tourneys, "recent" results mean nothing. Disrespecting a great player like him shows how stupid you are. |

Re: Least entertaining TV poker player?
Kathy Liebert was easily the most annoying when she got sort of manic while killing the PSII early matches.
But, my vote for most boring amongst big name players definitely goes to Greenstein. I was amused the way he sort of ignored Barry Jensen's probe attempts and nervous talkativeness in Barry's WPT victory, but otherwise, Count Chocula is pure snoozefest. I'm sort of entertained seeing how he plays though. Most boring? The tight no name, sort of confused type players that show no emotion and just casually leave when they bust out. Too many of these to count. You get no entertainment from them. You learn nothing from them. And they don't even do tricks to hide their hole cards like Seidel (which is the only interesting thing he does). |

Arieh makes me yell at the TV whenever I watch the 2004 WSOP. Berating (Williams was it) for calling $500K with two fives, vs. Arieh's AK. And then trapping Arieh's ass with the dark check... Therefore, Arieh can't be on this list. [/ QUOTE ] god this was a terrible play by williams |
