Default Too passive with AK?

I am fairly new to limit and my question is should
I have bet more instead of playing it down so passively. I can see many hands that I beat with so much paint on the board.

(P.S. That converter is F**ked up)

Man, this is really starting to piss me off. Greg, can you edit the FAQ so that there's a link to one of the converters that works, or else put a reminder to delete "Texas" next to the current link? Apparently no new posters can be troubled to either type hands out by hand or to search for any of the other 25 threads we've had on this subject in the last month. For now, I'm done responding to posts that just put in a raw HH and a complaint about the converter.

3-bet preflop, check raise the turn, and cap the river.

I like the check on the flop. You dont have anything, and are unlikely to fold out a person with any piece of this. Also you will not want to get c/r by a queen.

Turn is a good. I dont think I want to cap the turn here. This is because there is so much paint out there.

River? Well... depends on reads I think. How many hand would he play this way?

You need to be ahead 66% of the time to make a raise correct (unless you can fold to a 3-bet, I cant ).

So something like

AQ - 6
QJ - 6
QT - 6
KQ - 6

So you are 50/50 here. So Raising has a negative expection.

EV = .50 (1 bet) + .50 (-2 bets) = -.5

I believe that is correct. Of course, someone might disagree with my hand range evaluation (or I screwed up the math )

Given no read on my opponent, I think that hand range is fair. He has to call 1 bet out of the BB. He then checks the flop, but 3 bets the turn.

I would expect him to 3 bet AK here, so thats why I discluded it.

I did that already like 2 weeks ago duder. I also just checked the links that currently exist to the hand converter in the FAQ and it seems to work fine:

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero checks.

Turn: (4.25 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB bets, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: (10.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 12.25 BB

OP apparently didn't care enough to find the converter -- that used to earn a good ole fashioned flame by everyone in the golden days of ML (when I was the newb and the regulars were sfer, CDC, sthief, bisonbison... now those were the days!).

To the OP: don't be lazy and inconsiderate. There is no excuse for this garbage! I encourage other posters to flame the crap out of anyone that does this from now on.
